Our Story

From Humble Beginnings to Downtown's Desi Hub

Once upon a time, in the heart of Denton, a dream was born: to capture the essence of India in one lively, pulsating spot. That dream became *DesiAdda*

Our founders, passionate about their roots, yearned for a place that didn’t just serve Indian food but exuded Indian culture in every corner. A place where memories of home danced with the modern vibrancy of Denton Downtown. Thus, DesiAdda was not just established as a restaurant but as a hangout spot, a refuge, and a celebration of everything desi.

From our spices handpicked from the streets of India, to the melodies that have traveled miles to resonate in our lounge, our story is one of passion, perseverance, and a love for the authentic Indian experience.

Travelled all the way from Irving to eat here, The food here is awesome . I have ordered vijayawada boneless biryani and goat dum biryani, They were fantastic and the taste was too good. The ambience was peaceful and nice.

Divya Atturu

Such a great addition to the Denton Square. The Gobi Manchurian was some of the best I have had. I loved my (vegan) channa masala and my husband relished his buttered chicken. We had both the butter and the vegan na'an, and thought they were the very best na'an we have ever had. Didn't get to try the samosas yet, but will be back when they are available. Overall, we both had a fantastic meal and look forward to returning soon.
